Have you ever had your palm read? People who do it claim that the lines on our hands tell our story. Can the wrinkles on our face also try to say something? Let’s attempt to analyse them, and see what they suggest.

Change your sleeping pattern

The number of hours you sleep at night has a remarkable impact on your health. If you lack adequate sleep, you might feel the effect during the day, which can be stressful on the skin. Moreover, if you spend every night sleeping in the same position, some of your facial wrinkles might be caused by the marks left by the pillow every night, for years. In this case, perhaps the wrinkles are telling you to change position at night.

It is time to eat at home

We know that it might be difficult to eat at home every day, considering the busy schedule we all follow. But nutrition can have a considerable impact on the health of your skin. When you buy food at the take away or eat at the restaurant, you do not know all the ingredients that were used. Instead, if you eat at home more often, you can control both ingredients and doses, not to mention the fact that you can increase the intake of beneficial nutrients for the skin, such as cabbage, black currants, spinach and nuts.

Watch the sun!

Can small wrinkles or skin spots appear on my face despite the high protection factor I used at the sea? Yes, they can, because it does not suffice to use a sunscreen only when you visit the beach. We are often exposed to sun radiations without realising it, as during the hours spent in the car or when we take a walk in the city centre…those spots suggest that we should always carry a sunscreen in our handbag, to be used whenever the sun becomes a threat!

It is time for a check up

Perhaps those wrinkles on our face have no specific causes but are merely signs of time that is passing by. Perhaps they are suggesting that it is time to visit an expert aesthetic surgeon!
